Chrisyius Whitehead, age five, appeared more suited for kindergarten than the spotlight when he walked onto the America’s Got Talent 2024 stage. Chrisyius immediately locked into the groove like a seasoned pro as soon as the backup track began. The judges’ courteous smiles became to wide-eyed shock as his solo developed. Midway through the concert, the audience began to cheer; some even got up while he was still performing. The entire theater was standing by the time the last cymbal struck. As the judges complimented Chrisyius’s skill, rhythm, and fearless stage presence, he shyly smiled. This wasn’t just “good for a 5-year-old,” it was good, period.
He continued walking as if he were a child who required assistance getting up on the stool.
He left the AGT stage as the tiniest rock star, serving as a reminder that sometimes the smallest drummer can produce the greatest sound.
