Magic, Medleys, and Mystery! Aiden the Great and The We Daniels Steal the Show on IGT!

Magic and Music: Young Stars Shine Bright on Ireland’s Got Talent

The latest round of Ireland’s Got Talent proved that the next generation of performers is more than ready for the spotlight. From a heartfelt musical tribute to a nine-year-old magic prodigy, the episode was a masterclass in variety and youthful charm.

The night began with The We Daniels, a charming group of young performers from Cavan. Dressed in identical sharp outfits, the group delivered a high-energy tribute to one of Ireland’s most beloved entertainers, Daniel O’Donnell. Performing a medley of hits like “I Just Want to Dance with You,” the group captured the hearts of the audience with their synchronized moves and a perfectly timed “signature wink.” Michelle Visage confessed she had never heard of Daniel O’Donnell before but was now an instant fan. With a unanimous sweep of four “yeses,” The We Daniels proved that classic Irish charm is timeless.

However, the true showstopper was Aiden McCann, a nine-year-old magician who Michelle Visage appropriately dubbed “Aiden the Great.” Aiden brought a level of wit and stage presence that would be impressive for a seasoned pro, let alone a nine-year-old. Enlisting his favorite judge, Jason Byrne, as a “sidekick,” Aiden performed a series of mind-bending card tricks that left the panel in disbelief. Beyond his technical skill, it was Aiden’s natural comedic timing—including a few sharp jabs at Jason’s memory—that set him apart. Louis Walsh declared it the start of a whole new career, and Denise Van Outen predicted his name would be in lights for a very long time. With four “yeses,” Aiden McCann solidified his place as a superstar in the making.
